Another ESL tutor, Charlie, a retired university professor, likes the work of the Volunteer Connection – providing literacy tutoring and advocacy – because it is so necessary.
"This is number one on my list," he says," volunteering should be necessary."

Life Works career coach:
"All of us need help at some point in our life," says Michelle. If she would put a visual image to her belief it would be a great spiritual chain. "We are all links; you teach someone, and in turn, they teach someone else... and it goes on and on."
